Visa Overview
Mauritania is a West African country known for its Sahara Desert landscapes, historic desert towns, and Atlantic coastline. Bangladeshi passport holders require a visa to travel to Mauritania. Since 5 January 2025, visa-on-arrival is no longer available; travelers must obtain a Mauritania e-Visa before travel.

- Valid Bangladeshi passport — preferably with at least 6 months validity

- Completed online visa application
- Passport biodata page
- Return/onward flight itinerary
- Hotel booking/accommodation proof
- Bank statement / proof of financial capability
- Proof of occupation or professional documents
- Travel itinerary
- Yellow Fever vaccination certificate, where applicable
- Additional documents may be requested by Mauritanian authorities.

Applicants are advised to apply well before their intended travel date because processing is subject to approval by Mauritanian immigration authorities.
Important Note
Mauritania's e-Visa is issued electronically and permits entry through international ports of entry. Applicants may need to complete biometric procedures upon arrival.
